I Reclaim 2024
Your Health in Your Hands
The inaugural in-person I Reclaim HS Summit brought together HS patients, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, and community leaders for a weekend centered on education, empowerment, connection, and reclamation. Built by people living with HS for people living with HS, the summit created space for attendees to learn from leading specialists, build meaningful relationships, and reconnect with themselves beyond their diagnosis.

"I absolutely love this!!! I am so happy I attended. I reclaimed my confidence, gained education, & walked away with a new family."

"Building an online community is one thing, but getting able to meet people in person is like connecting with all of my pen pals."

Community & Atmosphere
For many attendees, I Reclaim was the first time they had ever met another person living with HS. Across workshops, meals, support circles, and spontaneous hallway conversations, strangers became friends and community became tangible. The summit created opportunities for people to feel understood without having to explain their experiences.

Impact & Reclamation
The theme of reclamation came to life throughout the weekend as attendees reflected on what they wanted to reclaim from HS — from confidence and self-esteem to voice, health, resilience, and community. The Community Reclamation Wall became a living record of personal transformation and collective healing.
“I can say that I love who I have become and I am NOT ashamed.”
