education

"It's super important that Black women & women of color, with HS, know about their condition & are educating themselves to know what to look for & how to advocate for themselves, because we're often overlooked."

- Tenaya M.

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” – Malcolm X.

Education is key to positively transforming every patient’s journey. It is a crucial tool to advocate for ourselves in the disempowering situations we often face as we navigate medical systems that are still behind on HS education. It's also a tool to reconnect patients to providers that they may feel once abandoned them. We want our community to know that there are physicians, pharmaceutical companies & nonprofits that care about them by connecting them to the top HS physicians & researchers in the world.
